I may or may not have a 'thing/obsession' for books where the
'forbidden love' is inevitable.
Smart Girl loves the 'Tattooed Bad Boy'
Or
Poor Boy falls for the Rich Girl
Well I lucked out because this book touched a bit on both those
scenarios. (Hmmm...Funny how things work out sometimes)
I loved Rory and Tyler throughout the whole book, showing that love can
happen when you least expect it to, with someone whom 'everyone' least
expects it to happen with.
Tyler was smart (Yeah, who knew the 'bad boy' had brains), had a strong
sense of loyalty and took his responsibilities very seriously. Who also
doesn't love a man with a hero complex? But, what made Tyler better was the love he had for his brothers, his 'TRUE
family'.
Rory was real and honest along with her being smart. Some of her comments to Tyler and others were to funny to not literally LOL. I loved how genuine she came across and how she truly cared for her friends, Tyler and his 'family'. (Hence TRUER).
This book had me expressing a lot of emotions from laughing to crying and even sometimes anger and 'shaking my head moments'. To me this makes the book better because I 'feel' the story and I am not just
'reading' it.
Overall I really enjoyed this book, yes it is a series (Yay) and I cannot wait for 'SWEET' Jessica and
Riley's story...coming to a e-reader near you in October.
Until my next Blog Post... (Insert cheesy catch phrase)
