I have been so lazy and not blogging, but I am going to try and Blog as I read.
I started reading this series last year when only book 1 and 2 were out. Now book 3/6 came out so I "of course" had to re-read book 1 and 2 so I could be fully prepared for book 3.
I absolutely love this series and I know every book is going to get better and better.
So the series starts off with Rule and Shaw.
Shaw is an honorary member of the Archer family, ever since she was 13 years old and Remy (Rule's twin brother) brought her home with him. Everyone always thought that Shaw was Remy's girl, but if only they had paid close enough attention they would have realized that wasn't the case. Not even close.
(I dedicate this part to my sister)
Shaw had always had her heart set on Rule, but she always had to watch from the sidelines. Had to see him climbing out of bed with other girls because she took it upon herself to make sure Rule was included in Sunday Archer Brunches.
Rule never thought of Shaw of any way other than his brothers girl. It might have had something to do with having his head stuck up his ass and walking to the beat of his own drum.
On Shaw's 20th Birthday, she had enough. Enough of listening to what other people expected of her and doing what other people say. She started off by buying normal clothes and changing her hair. Then went out for a night on the town with her best friend Ayden. So of course she gets shmammied courtesy of her fake ID and low and behold who shows up......come on people...RULE...obviously. haha.
Rule couldn't believe that it was Shaw dressed the way she was and acting the way she was. He thought he would do the right thing and bring her home to sleep it off.
HAHA as if...Shaw finally had her chance...Rule was right where she wanted him...alone. So she did what any girl who has loved a guy forever and finally had an opportunity to live out her dreams would do. She kissed him and didn't give him a chance to say no.
Now this story may have been your typical bad boy (tattoo artist) and rich girl (studying to become a doctor)...but I loved Rule. He was so easy to love and that's all he needed was someone to love him for him and not expect anything.
Sometimes people are just meant to be and no crazy person or rich snooty mother can stand in their way.
Now of course there were twists and turns, some expected and some expected, but this is definitely a page turner and it leaves you wanting to know all about the other characters.
Hey...don't get your panties and/or boxer briefs in a twist...all will come in due time.
This is only book 1/6...all the other characters that you want to know more about will have their time to shine...this was Rule's and I was NOT disappointed.
Now off to book 2...Jet and Ayden's story....don't worry that is not a spoiler alert...just read it...
Until my Next Blog about Jet and Ayden....."eeeeeeeee" <-- that is my excited verbage.
