Saturday, November 30th-Finished
Okay, this book was way better. I still didn't get my answers from the ending of Just One Song, but I love Chase and Mia's story.
Both Chase and Mia had a messed up perception of love and my heart went out to both of them.
Mia's mother ad breast cancer and she always knew there was a strong possibility that she was going to have it in her life time. That was one of the reasons she had for keeping Chase away.
When Chase asks Mia for one week to show her how much he loves her, she thought she could do that and walk away. She never thought she would fall in love with him. Then she gets the call she has been dreading and goes home to face her worst nightmares.
Chase is at her side throughout her Cancer ordeal, well as much as he can be, before Mia pushes him away again.
Chase is about to give up on love when Mia shows up and is left to wonder if he was the only one in the love game.
I loved the ending to this and the epilogue had me tearing up.
This book definitely redeemed itself.
Nicely done!
Until my next Blog when I have chosen a book.
