Nova had her first love's life was taken away from her and she is trying to come to terms with why.
Quinton feels like he is the one that took his first love away. Now he has to try to get by day by day with the guilt that he has a reminder of of his arm.
When Nova looks Quinton in his eye's for the first time, she see's the pain and that he is broken just like herself.
When Quinton see's Nova he smiles for the first time in over a year and he doesn't know if he deserves to smile.
I am expecting to feel the heartache as I am reading this book (Why, oh why, do I do this to myself...**sigh**)
