Saturday, September 14th-Finished
When I say (well write, but you get the idea) that I could not put this book
down, I mean it. I did not fall asleep until after 2:30 this morning. This is
when I clicked to the last page of the book, trust me when I saw (write) I am
exhausted, but it is so worth it.
Throughout This Beautiful Thing (Young Love 1) we are given snippets of Jaden
and Grace's 'relationship'.
Grace wanted, no needed, to start her life over and become someone that is
the complete opposite of who she really is. Then she meets Caden and her plan
almost get's ruined from the beginning.
When Caden met Grace met for the first time he felt this intense connection.
Little did Caden know his twin Jaden has had his eye on Grace. The twins make a
deal to not pursue Grace, but when Jaden breaks the 'twin code' things change.
Now all is fair in the fight to win Grace.
With reading this book, all the questions I had while reading This Beautiful
Thing were answered, just not in the way I had assumed.
I kept messaging my BBF with my predictions, but then had to turn around 2
minutes later and say never mind.
The only thing that disappointed me a bit was they ending, I felt it was a
little rushed and I am still left wondering about certain somebody. But maybe
that is one of her up and coming stories that she has yet to post a blurb
about. Hmmmmmm one can hope
Quotes:
"There has to be something wrong with me. Jaden is damn near perfect
and Caden....isn't"
"We weren't supposed to fall in love. I feel bipolar around Caden. I
know you're feeling it too. One second I want to be with him and the next I
don't."
"Sometimes people walk into your life for a little while and sometimes
they stay for the long haul.'
Honourable Quote: "I just couldn't deal without my weed. I have a
problem, don't judge." Amanda Heath well said. That is one of my favourite
lines (as people can already tell). For that ending and that ending
alone....kudos.
Should Be Noted: If I had to use one movie quote to assist in describing this book it
would be: You can't help who you love Derek, you're not supposed to.
-Save the Last Dance (courtesy of my baby sisters constant movie quoting conversations) Obviously you would substitute Derek for Grace, but ya, I know you are all with me on that.
Until my next Blog when I have chosen a book.
